First Week Update

Sorry for the break in posts. I am still alive! My first week at Chrysler was fantastic. They sent me to Texas on my second day to do tire testing at Goodyear proving grounds. I got to drive a camoflaged Jeep! It is fascinating to me the difference from one tire to the next. One is hard to steer, the next is too loud, and another feels like your driving on a marshmellow! All in the same vehicle, with tires that are identical by the way they look to you and me. Makes you wonder what you're getting at tire rack... I also got to drive my first M-plate home this weekend! Work-wise I'm pretty overwhelmed. Since the program is so far along, I'm getting thrown into the middle without any knowledge of the history. It's challenging but that's what I wanted to do this for, so I'm just asking tons of questions and trying to get up to speed as fast as possible. So far my supervisor and manager seem awesome, and everyone else I work with has been so nice and welcoming. I can't wait for week two!
